The VP-727 dual scaler seamless switcher is a true multi-standard video to graphics scaler and seamless switcher with 8 universal inputs comprised of 5 BNCs, any of which can accommodate a composite video, s-Video (Y/C), component video (RGB/YUV), RGBS, or RGBHV signal.

It has dual scalers, one for the preview and the other for the program output. Dual scalers are required to do "live" seamless transitions and dissolve effects from one source to another.

The unit also allows slides or logos to be stored directly onto a free input channel with the use of frame store. This unit is HDTV compatible and comes complete with a dedicated remote control 'T Bar' mixing console VP-727T.

Converts composite video, component video, S-video, VGA-through-UXGA and DVI-D signals to ten user selectable pixel rates from 640x480 to 1600x1200.

Also provides seamless switching between 7 inputs – 2 x composite RCA, 2 x S-video, 1 x component 3-RCA, 1 x 15 pin mini D-sub and 1 x DVI-D – and one 15 pin mini D-sub output.

The OCTO-FX is a computer & video up/down scaler switcher featuring Fading & Titling Effects together with Hi–Res logo Insertion and frame store functions.

Fitted with 8 universal A/V inputs, it performs a fast and ultra- smooth transition between any video or computer sources. Multiple effects include titling, fading and logo insertion.

Up to 2 logos can be allocated by input and positioned anywhere on the screen. The Frame Store can be used as a Welcome Image or as a Transition Image while switching between 2 sources.

Fade smoothly between four inputs with no genlocking required.

S-video and composite BNC inputs and component (YUV), S-video (Y/C) or composite video outputs.

Supplied complete with 2 x 7" LCD monitors configured to show preview inputs and programme output.
